British Future: English Identity Poll

- This research is based on a nationally representative survey of 2,426 adults in England, conducted by Focaldata for British Future between 6–17 February 2026, including a boosted sample of 684 respondents from ethnic minority backgrounds.
- The study explores public attitudes towards English identity, national symbols such as the England flag, and the extent to which people feel able to express an inclusive sense of national pride.
