Polling for James Kanagasooriam's op-ed in the Times: "Five things Labour must do to be an election winner"

July 18, 2026

Focaldata interviewed 1,693 UK adults for its omnibus survey (Q60: Andy Burnham's policy priorities), fielded in July 2026, and separately surveyed 1,403 people who voted Labour at the 2024 general election (Q14: immigration and asylum) in June 2026, built by combining a nationally representative UK sample with a boosted sample of 2024 Labour voters. The omnibus sample was weighted by age, gender, region, education and 2024 vote to be nationally representative of UK adults; the Labour-voter sample was weighted on the same variables to be representative of 2024 Labour voters specifically. Focaldata is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules. Tables can be found here.
