Public support for principles of international cooperation across 34 countries
This linked briefing note presents the results of a study on public attitudes to the principles that could underpin international cooperation.
Countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay
Fieldwork: ran 21 July – 5 August 2026 across 34 countries (n = 35,339). Quotas applied within each country during fieldwork, with weights applied afterwards. Quota and weighting targets in each country based on nationally representative statistics around age, gender, region, education, past vote.
