Westminster voting intention: Starmer approval hits new low as Reform extends lead over Labour

With the conclusion of the Labour Party's annual conference, Keir Starmer has dropped to a net approval rating of -40, the lowest we have recorded at Focaldata. The survey, conducted between 19 September and 1 October, found that 19% of the public has a favourable approval rating of the prime minister, compared to 59% with a negative view.

On the voting intention front, Reform UK has increased their lead over Labour to 8 points, up from 5 points in last month’s survey. Nigel Farage's party remains steady on 29%, while Labour has dropped to 21%, down three points on last month.
